Characteristics of flange type double deck corrugated compensator
Flange type double deck corrugated compensator has the characteristics of small stiffness, good flexibility, large compensation, long fatigue life, etc. It has been widely used in aerospace, shipbuilding, automobile, petrochemical, thermal energy and other industries.
The flange type double deck corrugated compensator has various forming methods, among which the hydraulic bulging process has the advantages of high efficiency, good mechanical properties of parts, etc., and has become an important plastic forming method of metal corrugated pipes.
The pressure bulging process of flange type double deck corrugated compensator includes two stages: initial wave and extrusion forming. After forming, the corrugated pipe obtained by hydraulic bulging inevitably rebounds, leading to the change of waveform profile, which affects its performance. The springback of corrugated pipe is greatly affected by the bulging process parameters, especially for the double-layer corrugated pipe, the contact and constraint behavior between layers makes the springback process of corrugated pipe more complex. Therefore, it is of great significance to master the influence of process parameters on the springback of hydraulic bulging of flange type double deck corrugated compensator and to realize the forming of double deck corrugated pipe.
The research methods of hydraulic bulging of flange type double deck corrugated compensator mainly include experiment, theoretical analysis and numerical simulation. The numerical simulation method is widely used because it can quickly realize and systematically analyze the forming process. The difference between multi-layer bellows hydraulic bulging modeling and single-layer bellows is that the treatment of layer to layer contact and constraint conditions compares the springback of double-layer bellows and single-layer bellows in the process of hydraulic bulging. It is found that the size change of double-layer bellows after springback is greater than that of single-layer bellows. However, the research on the influence of the above forming parameters is aimed at the hydraulic bulging of single-layer bellows. The advantages of flange type double deck corrugated compensator are as follows:
(1) Under internal pressure and die stroke, the length change, wave height change and wave thickness change of the double-layer bellows after springback are basically linear, and the change of length and wave thickness is far greater than the change of wave height.
(2) The influence of internal pressure on springback is greater than that of die stroke, and the influence of extrusion speed on springback can be ignored.
(3) The larger the expansion ratio is, the greater the resilience of the bellows is, and the resilience is sensitive to the change of process parameters.
